机器系指： 

—应用在生产、处理、传送或包装的机器，该机器由若干个零件或组件组合而成，其中至少有一个组件能因驱而产生运动。

—为达到相同的目的，将数个零件组合在一起并发挥一套完整的机器功能。

—某种机器的可互换设备，这种设备投放市场的目的是用来装配到一部机器或一套不同机器上的，也可由操作者装在牵引车上，该设备不作为一个零件或一种工具单独使用。

  

依据欧洲联盟的法律规定，以下机械指令附录Ⅳ所列之“危险机械”必须送交检验机构验证：

A．机械

1．加工木材及类似材料或加工肉类似材料之单片或多片圆锯机

1.1 操作时带有固定或刀具的锯木机，有一个以手押送料方式进给之固定床台或采用可拆卸式动力进给装置。

1.2 操作时带有固定式刀具的锯木机，采用有手操作之往复运动锯木工作台或托架。

1.3 操作时带有固定刀具的锯木机，采用内藏式工作进给装置及采用人工方式上下料。

1.4 操作时带有移动式刀具的锯木机，采用机械式进给装置及人工方式上下料。

2．手押送式刨木机

3．人工上、下料之木工用单面刨

4．加工木材及类似材料或肉类及类似材料，采用固定式或移动式床台及移式承架，以人工上下料之带锯机。

5．由1至4点及第7点所提及加工木材及类似材料之机械所组合成之复合机械。

6．手进给式多刀具夹持头之木工作榫机。

7．加工木材及类似材料之立轴刨花机。

8．木工用手提式链锯。

9．采用人工上下料金属冷作加工用冲压床，包括折床，其移动之工作的行程超过6mm，速度每秒超过30mm。

10．人工上下料式之塑料射出或压缩成型机。

11．人工上下料式之橡胶射出或压缩成型机。

12．下列地下工程用机器设备： 

—轨道上之机械：动力车头及制动车，

—液压式隧道顶支撑设备，

—地下工程用机械所采用之内燃机。

13．安装有压缩机械，及采用人工收集装载家庭垃圾之卡车。

14．附件一之3.4.7节中所提方向接头之防护装与可分离式传动轴。

15．维护车辆用顶高机。

16．包括可能从三公尺以上垂直高度掉落之危险之人员举升装置。

17．制造烟火的机械。

B. 保安零件组

1．特别设计用以侦测人员，以确保其安全之电感应装置。（无形的护栅、感应垫、电磁侦测器……等）

2．确保安全之双手控制器的逻辑单元。

3．第9、10、11条所提及机械用之可自动移动式护屏。

4．翻覆保护结构（ROPS）。

5．掉落物保护结构（FOPS）。
